“I spoke to Edgar on Wednesday a.m. , explained we were told we needed a new HVAC system. I felt a second opinion was needed. Edgar scheduled to meet that afternoon. After checking the system, he immediately told us the furnace was very good and did not need replacing, he expected it would survive at least another 10 years. He explained a/c problems and they could be repaired with parts . Due to cost of replacement parts and age of unit, we felt it prudent to replace instead of repair. Later that evening he sent quotes on the four we spoke about. The prices were very fair. His crews were booked through mid part of following week.
