Nu-Air does a great job. I’ve had these guys come out to my house on several occasions. They do quality work in a timely manner. The technicians are always friendly and explain their findings and what is needed for repairs. However, they do upcharge a significant amount for parts ($200+ for a $40 capacitor, $600+ for a $200 fan motor). But in fairness, they always tell you what it costs and get your approval before doing anything. So you’re not blindsided when you get the bill. Bottom line, they do good work and get it done quickly. If you value getting things repaired fast, paying a bit more for parts may be worth it.

Best A/C Service in the Area
2025 Just want to update my praise for Edgar Mejia and his company, NuAir. I have used NuAir as my go-to A/C repair service for over 10 years and from the very first call have found them to be quick to return calls and schedule an appointment. My old 5-ton A/C recently quit working and Edgar identified the problem as the fan motor that blows the hot/cold air into the house as the culprit. A new fan motor was ordered and installed and unit was put back in service with both heating and cooling restored. However, the weather turned springtime so the A/C was not needed for several days but with the return of cold weather I returned the unit to service but the unit would not shut down when the set room temperature was reached and the only way to stop it was to turn it off at the circuit breaker. Of course, this was not noticed until Saturday night but a call to NuAir Monday morning brought Edgar out around noon. A check of the motor and thermostat proved both to be in working order, but Edgar then checked the wiring in a part of the system that was not even in the area near the new motor installation and found two wires had over time worn through the insulation and had shorted out, causing the new motor to continue to run. Separating the wires and taping the bare area solved the problem with no cost in additional repair parts. I am sorry to say I will not be using NuAir's service in the future as we have put the big house up for sale and moved to Texas. But rest assured I will inform the new owner of the best A/C service in this area, NuAir Air Heating & Cooling Service.
